In May 2010 the CSPG, CSEG and CWLS will join with GAC, MAC, IAH-CNC, CCPG and CFES to bring GeoCanada, a once-in-a-decade event, to Calgary. This valuable earth science Convention will boast an expanded technical program, extended Exhibit Floor and plenty of networking opportunities for the more than 4,500 expected attendees.
Technical Program
The abstract submission deadline has been extended! Authors now have until Monday, February 1 to submit an abstract for the Technical Program, which is comprised of over 70 general sessions encompassing everything from Alternative Energy and Advances in Seismic Acquisition to Nuclear Repositories and Tectonostratigraphy. Be a part of this exciting program - submit an abstract for an oral session, poster display, or core conference here.
Exhibits
In 2010 the Exhibit Hall will be open for three full days, from Monday, May 10th to Wednesday, May 12th. Exhibit space is filling up quickly, so be sure to submit your booth application form today and ensure your company secures the opportunity to showcase products and services to over 4,500 attendees in a 100,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall. Public Outreach
Earth Science for Society takes place Monday and Tuesday in the space directly adjoining the Exhibit Hall. This interactive exhibition is expected to attract approximately 2,000 junior high school students as well as Convention delegates and the general public, and is only one of five planned outreach initiatives taking place this May, Click here to find out how you and your company can get involved.
Special Events
